This lava lamp pattern is beginner/intermediate and is written in US terms. The lamp itself is worked in continuous rounds. The ghosts are worked in rows.
This pattern is written using a specific yarn type in mind, but feel free to try different types of yarn as well! Just keep in mind the size of your hook will vary depending on your yarn choice. You will need to have a smaller weight yarn for the ghosts than for your lamp, so keep that in mind as well when choosing your yarn. It is important to note that this pattern does not give instructions on how to crochet. If you have any questions about the pattern itself, please feel free to reach out!
*Tip: In order to get your ghosts to shine the brightest, take a flashlight and shine it over your glow in the dark ghosts. This will allow them to “charge up” their light. Turn your lights off, and watch them glow!
